Why choose TP9468 IS?
Delivers on the P25 Standards
The TP9468 meets the spectral efficiency, multi-vendor interoperability, security, migration, and data capability demanded by the P25 standards. It is TIA-102 P25 CAP tested, providing multi-vendor interoperability and giving your organization greater choice and flexibility.
Designed for Demanding Environments
The TP9468 is designed in collaboration with users to ensure effective, every day operation in challenging conditions. It exceeds relevant MIL-STD-810G, withstands up to one meter of water for 30 minutes with its IP67 rating, has shock absorbing corners and a water-shedding grille, and offers a large LCD screen and four programmable function keys with a three-way selector, all designed for reliable, easy operation.
Class I Division 1 Intrinsically Safe
Designed for maximum safety in the field, the TP9468 IS portable radio has the highest Class 1 Division 1 gas ratings in the market, meeting safe operation standards for hazardous environments.
High-Performing Voice Communications
Robust design delivers clear, mission-critical voice communications. The TP9468 operates in analog, P25 Phase 1 conventional/trunked and P25 Phase 2, with an automatic dual mode between analog and P25 Phase 1 conventional. Other features include a microphone with AMBE+2 enhanced vocoder to reduce background noise, voting to ensure priority selection, dynamic regrouping and supergroup operation, a capacity of up to 2,000 channels, scanning modes, and a range of analog signaling functionality.
Improve Workforce Safety
The TP9468 is equipped with several safety features as standard, including Man Down and Lone Worker. The programmable emergency key is easily accessible and highly visible, and the inbuilt GPS transmits location over your conventional voice network, making it easy to locate someone should they require assistance. Transmissions stay secure with end-to-end encryption, including AES, and it features radio inhibit and uninhibit to allow management of lost or stolen radios. In the event of trunked network failure, trunked failsoft reverts to conventional operation.
Effective Operation With Voice and Data
The TP9468 offers support for a variety of simulcast modes, such as LSM and C4FM. Efficiency can be increased through its data capability, including pre-set status messaging, P25 data (such as emergency GPS location), conventional and trunked IP data, and location services over a conventional and trunked network.
Efficient, Security-Focused Management
TP9468 management facilities and applications allow you to efficiently manage your radio fleet through over-the-air-rekeying (OTAR), Key Fill Device (KFD) for fast, reliable encryption key programming, and the Tait Advanced System Key (TASK), which allows administrations to authorize and restrict subscriber units on their network.
Complete Package and Accessories
The TP9468 is compatible with a portfolio of Intrinsically Safe audio accessories, including speaker-microphones, headsets, and earpieces. It also offers an Intrinsically Safe Li-ion battery and an Intrinsically Safe compatible charger.
